She started playing golf at the age of 6 at the La Cañada Municipal Golf Course in Guadiaro. At 10, she competed in her first Spanish National Championship, and soon after, she was selected by both the Andalusian and National Committees to represent them in national and international tournaments.
In 2013, she was selected by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation and the Spanish Olympic Committee to join the ‘Blume’ national team in Madrid, where she remained for two years.
In 2015, she achieved victory in the European Individual Championship and ranked second in the world overall. That same year, she was selected by the European Committee to represent Europe in the Junior Solheim Cup.
In 2016, while still an amateur, she played in the Let Access Professional Circuit, achieving several victories and earning her card to play the full 2017 season on the Ladies European Tour.
Also, in October 2016, she played the second stage of the LPGA qualifying school, gaining direct access through her second-place position in the world amateur ranking. Two months later, in December, she solidified her full LPGA Tour card through the final stage of the qualifying school with an 11th-place finish.
